The top 100 list sets up three characteristic lists of innovation strength, innovation efficiency and science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship team, including the top 50 enterprises with innovation strength, the top 30 enterprises with innovation efficiency and the top 20 enterprises with science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship team, including the "science and technology strong" in various fields of Foshan enterprises, showing the strong innovation strength of Foshan enterprises. - Top 30 enterprises in Innovation efficiency refers to 30 enterprises with a certain economic scale (operating income of more than 20 million yuan in the previous year), and have obvious advantages in innovation efficiency and enterprise efficiency.
- Strong innovation input-output and high innovation efficiency are important characteristics of the top 30 enterprises in innovation efficiency. From the perspective of innovation investment, the average R&D investment intensity of the top 30 enterprises with innovation efficiency reached 10.9%, and the proportion of R&D personnel accounted for 32.1% of employees, which was much higher than the city's high average (4.4%, 19.1%).

Statistics show that the top 30 innovative energy efficiency enterprises in the last year's operating income exceeded 90 million yuan, the average household revenue of 370 million yuan, the average household profit rate of 9.7%, 4.5 percentage points higher than the city's high, strong profitability. The total per capita profit of the top 30 enterprises in innovation efficiency was 83,000 yuan and the per capita tax paid was 43,000 yuan, which were higher than the city's average of 22,000 yuan/person and 9,000 yuan/person respectively.
- From the perspective of industry, these enterprises are mainly concentrated in the three technical fields of advanced manufacturing and automation, new materials, and electronic information. Among them, there are 11 listed enterprises in the field of advanced manufacturing and automation, and the number of listed enterprises ranks first in various technical fields.
